Costs & Sponsor: The US$34,000 for this school was raised by BK2S members and friends, together with a generour contribution from a Swiss Foundation.

Children: 100 - 150, from 5 to 15 years old, girls and boys in equal numbers.

Teachers: 2 teachers, employed by the Malawi public education board.

School building: Reinforced concrete, 140m2, two classrooms.

Construction: Managed by buildOn, construction started June ‘25. The Kambewa community proudly contributed near 2’700 volunteer workdays to the construction of their new school. Children are in class since January 2026.
