Children: 100 - 150, from 5 to 15 years old, girls and boys in equal numbers.

Teachers: 2 teachers, employed by the Malawi public education board.

School building: Reinforced concrete, 140m2, two classrooms.

Construction started in Sep.2025 completed in Jan.2026. The work was supervised by local employees of our partner organisation buildOn. The community of Matanda was working hands-on, and proudly contributed an incredible 4,099 work days.
