Costs & Sponsor: The US$34,000 for this school was funded by Hitachi Energy (Switzerland), during 2024, with over 1700 employees contributing in a global fundraising campaign.

The new school provides space for 100 - 150 children, from 5 to 15 years old, girls and boys in equal numbers.

Two teachers are now employed here, through the Malawi public education board.

The School building is made of reinforced concrete, with 140m2 area, providing space for two classrooms.

Construction: Managed by buildOn, the Mphudzu community proudly contributed 3,382 volunteer work days to the building of their new school!
