Thank you Swisscom - Groundbreaking in Ndoucoumane, Senegal

Thank you Swisscom, for making a new school possible in Ndoucoumane, a remote village in Senegal.

There is already a school in Ndoucoumane with currently 297 pupils, 198 of whom are girls. However, the existing buildings are unsafe, even dangerous, and have long been unsuitable for teaching.

This makes the community all the more delighted that the long-awaited new school is finally being built – made possible by the generous support of Swisscom.

The community members are actively involved in the construction, guided by our partner organisation buildOn.
