Costs & Sponsor: The US$34,000 for this school was funded by Hitachi Energy (Switzerland), during 2024, with over 1700 employees contributing in a global fundraising campaign.

Children: 100 - 150, from 5 to 15 years old, girls and boys in equal numbers.

Teachers: 2 teachers, employed by the Malawi public education board.

School building: Reinforced concrete, 140m2, two classrooms.

Construction: Managed by buildOn, construction started in April 2025. The Kaomba community proudly contributed an incredible 4’860 volunteer workdays to the construction of their new school. Children are in class since December 2025
